Leadership
Dennis K. O’Brien
President and Founder
Dennis began his career journey working for top technology firms such as Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and AT&T Labs. These experiences gave him the foundation and appreciation for how even the smallest details can be pieced together to form a comprehensive network. As a result, he desired to build a company to help clients realize their life goals. He focused on financial guidance that affects everyone and developed additional skills along the way.
Using his technology, managerial, financial and leadership skills, he has provided his assistance to families, non-profits and business. He developed varied skills that have financial functions at the core. The day-to-day business activities have had clients asking for these skills.
Mediation skills developed from families he worked with getting divorced. Tax preparation led to assist clients with college planning. Business partnership disputes causing stagnant growth in the business call upon his mediation skills to get the business past the challenges. Bookkeeping and leadership skills led to business planning and fractional CFO work. Non-profits called for strategy, board compliance, and program reviews.
To our work effort, the crossover of the skill set is undeniable related.
Beyond guiding clients, Dennis and the firm prioritize giving back to charities and the community through donations of their time, financial and operations expertise, and monetary gifts. Dennis serves on the Monmouth Board County of Directors of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, and has developed a Board governance program for the United Way. He also sits on the Education Committee of the Howell Board of Education, where he reviews student curriculum and enhances classroom materials.
Throughout his career, Dennis remains committed to his education and learning within the industry. He holds a master’s degree in Technology Management from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering (formally Polytechnic University) in New York, a master’s certificate in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University.
Dennis is a member of several financial advisor and tax-oriented professional associations including:
